The majority of youth in adoption cannot afford or find help through some of their toughest moments. This drop-in program is meant to allow youths to listen to youths and provide a safe space where they can express themsleves on a daily basis while still being supported by top adoption organizations and professionals.

Objective

The Free-For-Youth program is designed for youth up to the age of 23 years old to “drop in” to our social forums with nothing more than a signed parental consent form and share their experiences with other trained youth support peers supervised by adotption professionals.

Scope

Every Facebook-Instagram or other social group is meant to be a safe space for youth in adoption to express themselves to other adopted youth. This provides them with a support structure relatable to them everyday and in their times of need. The program is constantly supervised by adoption professionals that can ensure the safety of all youth in the program.

We are so lucky to have experienced adoptive youth leaders along with a talented team of adoption professionals and the accredited Adopt4Life community. The youth leaders will ensure that this open program will support every youth in adoption and encourage community as well as professional support.

This gives an open program like this, the best chance at succeeding to engage youth in adoption and match them to their peers. With this infra-structure and support in place, youth in the adoption community of all ages can engage in a program with nothing more than a parental consent form. This will open up support for all youth as they continue their adoption yourney, this time fully supported by other youth and adoption professionals.
